Brewing recommendations:

Use clean, fresh, chemical-free water with some mineral content. Grind coffee fresh to match your brewing method. Use water around 200 degrees F (93 degrees C). Keep brewing equipment clean. Store coffee beans in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture.

Best Decaf ever!!

I’ve been wary of decaf coffee for a while now given all of the chemicals typically used to decaffeinate coffee beans but after reading more about the process I felt like this would be the best coffee to try and my golly is the best decaf coffee I’ve ever tasted! I draw espresso shots with my coffee and the flavor is excellent and draws beautifully. I’ll definitely buy it again!

I would like to just say that I really like the coffee. I’m unable to drink any other coffee because I have to have more free coffee. Once I got the strength down pad, I really enjoyed it. I’m always very thankful for the people on the telephone and the service is great.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

BEST decaf coffee I have ever consumed! Thank you Purity for nailing a delicious decaf coffee option! I LOVE coffee, caffeinated or not. It is that warm cup of joy and goodness that I love to hold anytime of the day. I often enjoy my decaf in the evening hours.

I really want to like this product. This was the second time trying it in a year. I was hoping the second time I was going to see something different but to me it has a sour taste to it. I’m sure the Purity of it is awesome but I’ve got like the taste of it too.

Will not buy again

I was not a fan of the decaf coffee (but really really love the other coffees here). It is a light roast that tastes sour to me. I mixed it with the regular roast and it still isn't great. But if you really like a light roast then you would probably like this.

Purity Coffee

Hi Stef, Thanks so much for your feedback! Sourness generally comes from under extraction, and there's a few ways to try fixing that. You want to aim for the water temperature to be between 195-205ºF, i.e. just below boiling temperature. You can try edging toward the higher end of that range to ensure proper extraction. Grinding finer is also a potential fix. If the grounds are too coarse for your brew method, you won't extract as much flavor. Another variable is your coffee:water ratio. A good starting point is a 1:15 ratio, or 2 tablespoons to 8oz of water. Try adding just a bit more water through to increase the ratio and combat sourness. With all of that said, it's important to only change one variable at a time, otherwise you won’t know which change led to your desired taste profile. Best coffee ever!

This coffee is absolutely incredible. I was drinking multiple cups of coffee post partum and feeling so drained and depleted. I switched to purity and not only do I feel amazing, the taste is absolutely incredible. It’s super creamy delicious and I know I’m getting the best quality.
