Brewing recommendations:
Use clean, fresh, chemical-free water with some mineral content. Grind coffee fresh to match your brewing method. Use water around 205 degrees F (96 degrees C). Keep brewing equipment clean. Store coffee beans in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture.

We started switching over to Balance after enjoying our Ease for a long time, mainly because we wanted an option with less caffeine for later in the day. As parents of littles, we have been known to reach for that third cup of coffee in the afternoon to keep the energy flowing. Balance has been such a pleasant surprise. Not only is the taste up to the Purity standards we expect, but the overall experience has been so great that we now drink it full time. It's our go-to coffee and a wonderful addition to the Purity line.
This coffee is wonderful! I love that it is already only 1/3 caffeine. I don’t have to worry about making my own mix. And the taste is wonderful!!. I have looked for rich, NOT overly bold, coffee like I used to drink with my mother, years ago. That coffee company decided to close its doors, and I have been looking for something similar for years. I did not find it until I tasted this. It is so nice to have a rich cup of coffee and one that does not upset your stomach. I will continue to drink this as long as it is around. I am so pleased with this company, and thrilled that they understand what rich, not burned, coffee tastes like. I have recommended this to my friends.
I love coffee, but can no longer tolerate full caffeine. I've tried various brands, buying 2 bags of decaf and 1 bag of full caff; trying to get the right body and flavor profile. It's been a challenge. When looking to try yet another brand, I came across Purity. I was surprised that they offer whole bean with ⅓ caffeine....I've never seen it before. I thought I'd try it, and honestly, expected not to like it. Wow, was I wrong! This coffee is SO good, I signed on for a subscription. I hope they never change it!
I wanted to find a coffee that still had a really rich flavor but with less caffeine and this totally hits the spot! Also love that it is a clean coffee.
I wanted something with less caffeine since I'm currently pregnant. My usual with Purity is Flo, but just heard about Balance, and wanted to try it. Unfortunately, I don't love it. Hopefully the flavor profile can be worked on while keeping the caffeine low.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, we’re sorry to hear you aren’t loving Balance. If you do not mind sharing, what is it about the flavor you aren't enjoying? Happy to answer any grinding and brewing questions you may have. We recommend two tablespoons of ground coffee for every 8oz cup of water used to brew. If the flavor is tasting too bold or bitter, try adjusting the grind slightly coarser. If the flavor is tasting weak or sour, adjust the grind slightly finer. A minor grind adjustment will have a huge impact on the end resulting brew!
This is my favorite brand of coffee. Not only because it is third party tested for micotoxins and mold but because all of them taste sooooo good!!
