Brewing recommendations:

Use clean, fresh, chemical-free water with some mineral content. Grind coffee fresh to match your brewing method. Use water around 200 degrees F (93 degrees C). Keep brewing equipment clean. Store coffee beans in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture.

I’m really impressed with Purity Decaf! It’s smooth, rich, and full of flavor without the flat or bitter taste I’ve experienced with other decaf coffees. It has a clean, delicious flavor with subtle chocolate notes and a smooth, balanced finish. It’s perfect for an evening cup when you want great coffee without the caffeine. I am sorry, but I just did not like the decaf taste. Something about it was just off for me. Maybe the the regular is better, but I can not have that brew. I ground all 3 bags I got and just threw them all out. So stpid of me to even buy that many without trying it first, but the reviews were good. So sorry again.

Very sorry to hear you are not enjoying Purity Coffee so far! If you do not mind sharing, what is it about the coffee that you are not enjoying? I am more than happy to discuss grinding and brewing adjustments to see if we can work together to get the coffee more to your liking.

What type of coffee is it that you typically enjoy? At Purity Coffee we do not roast too light or too dark as we make every decision based on the health benefits and compounds in the coffee. We want to be sure you are getting as many antioxidants as possible in your final brew.

In general, if the flavor is tasting weak/sour, try adjusting the grind slightly finer. If the flavor is tasting too bold/bitter, adjust the grind slightly coarser. A minor grind adjustment will have a huge impact on the end resulting brew. We recommend two tablespoons of ground coffee for every 8oz cup of water used to brew.

If after making adjustments you are still unable to get a great tasting brew you enjoy, let us know. We are a small company, and we appreciate any feedback you are able to provide us with. If needed, I can assist you with a return for a refund minus the original shipping costs Purity Coffee paid to ship the order to you, but hopefully we can find a roast and brew recipe you enjoy!

Best Decaf Blend I have Ever Tasted
Thank your Purity for making an incredible decaf blend made with great care and attention, chemical-free processing, regenerative farming practices & supportive community, and of course mycotoxin free. I've had to switch to primarily decaf for health reasons and have scoured the interweb, tirelessly searching for a decaf that doesn't taste like decaf. Decaf Can Be Delicious
I tried Purity Calm as a test. I have a local roaster whose coffee I have enjoyed for years and I wanted to see if paying a premium got me a better cup of coffee. It did. Time will tell if I'm willing to pay so much of a premium, but I highly recommend this coffee!
