We start with rare, single-origin coffee beans from the Inga Aponte farms in the mountains of Colombia, grown through farming practices that care for the land and create nutrient-rich coffee.
The beans are then cold-brewed under tightly controlled conditions, allowing for the selective extraction of beneficial compounds while avoiding the harshness created by high-temperature brewing.
Then the cold brew is freeze-dried to preserve more of the original qualities of the coffee. This creates an instant coffee that dissolves cleanly in hot or cold water while retaining its natural flavor.

Love it.
I think all of the Sacred Cup coffees are incredible. This is a delicious instant coffee. My palette particularly picks up the citrus, which I wish I could tone down just a bit, but that's just me :) This mixes SO well in cold water, and I actually find I can use 9-10 oz of hot water and it doesn't taste watered down at all -- and I usually like strong coffee! If you've sample a lot of instant coffees, you can even visually tell this is different. I appreciate the individual packaging for travel purposes when I can't really drink on-the-go chain coffees without them affecting me.
My only negative is that it's a small box, and it is expensive.

I have a confession. I love good instant coffee and this is the best of the best. I do wish it was available in a 4oz bag, but its too expensive for me to order again. I just wanted to taste it and I loved it. Wish it was more affordable and more in bulk.
