    Flavor is off

    SBUX Italian or Sumatra roast is what I normally drink. Tried the Purity Ease roast bc it’s advertised as organic & mold free. Good for gut aspect was a bonus. What they don’t tell you is anything about how it actually tastes. I should be known better than to buy 4 boxes first time.

    Hi Wendy, we’re sorry Ease wasn’t a good fit for your taste. We do provide tasting notes and roast information for our coffees, but taste is very personal.

    Since you typically enjoy very dark, bold roasts like Italian and Sumatra, Ease (especially in a single-serve pod) is going to be quite different from the flavor and intensity you’re accustomed to.
    We intentionally don’t roast our coffees as dark as some traditional dark roasts, as our roasting standards are designed around both flavor and minimizing unwanted compounds that can form during roasting.

    We also noticed you purchased four boxes for your first order, and while we didn’t hear from you before the review, we’ve gone ahead and refunded the coffee under our satisfaction guarantee, less the original shipping charge. There’s no need to return the remaining pods. We’re sorry this one wasn’t the right match for you!
