Introducing Sacred Cups Coffee: A New Chapter in Coffee and Connection

For years, Purity Coffee has dedicated ourselves to bringing you the cleanest, healthiest coffee, with every decision made in service of human health. And now, we are honored to introduce Sacred Cups Coffee — a new collection that invites you to go deeper into your coffee ritual and the impact it can have on your mental, physical, and emotional well-being.

What is Sacred Cups?

Sacred Cups is a deliciously rare, single-origin coffee collection crafted to transform your everyday coffee routine into a mindful ritual that awakens your senses, supports your well-being, and enhances your connection to the world around you.

It’s born from a simple but profound belief:

Coffee can be more than a drink — it can be a daily ritual that grounds the body, soothes the soul, and ignites the journey ahead.

Sacred Cups invites you to sit with your coffee. To let the moment and the taste consume you as you take time for yourself to reflect, dream, and awaken your senses. We know this moment of connection with yourself can improve your overall mental health by lowering stress and anxiety and increasing your connection with the world around you in a way that can benefit your physical health.

Like Purity, Sacred Cups is third-party lab tested for contaminants and high antioxidant levels.

Where is Sacred Cups Sourced From?

The story begins with the Aponte Inga — an Indigenous community residing deep in the highlands of Colombia. They are descendants of the ancient pre-Hispanic Incas who carry on the belief of our deep connection with nature.

They grow coffee in harmony with the land, using ancient farming practices and regenerative farming techniques to care for the land. The coffee is cultivated on small plots passed down through generations, with practices rooted in care, reverence, and a connection to the Earth.

Sacred carries that connection in every cup. It’s ceremonial and intentional. It’s an invitation to slow down, reflect, and rise. Every cup serves as a love letter to the world around us.

Sacred is grown in nutrient-rich volcanic ash to create a uniquely complex and sweet taste. It isn’t officially certified because the indigenous Aponte Inga community does not have access to the certification process. But the coffee is grown using organic and regenerative farming practices that align with Purity’s high standards.

Our Belief in The Power of Ritual

For Purity co-founder Amber Salisbury, Sacred Cups is personal.

Her work as an end-of-life doula, a celebrant, and someone who has spent years learning from Indigenous wisdom keepers has taught her one thing: how we live each day matters. And how we begin each day can shape everything that follows.

The Sacred Cups ritual invites you to take a pause each morning. To honor those who came before you. To appreciate the moment you’re in. And to dream forward for yourself and future generations. Our blessing is simple — but powerful. It turns an ordinary act into something extraordinary.

The Aponte Inga — our first farming partners — have a powerful story of transformation. They’ve turned a region once affected by conflict into one of peace, stewardship, and sacred cultivation. Their coffee is grown with reverence for the land, harvested in harmony with nature, and offered as a gift to the world.

An Invitation

If you love coffee that makes you feel good, you’re already in the right place.

If you’re ready for coffee that makes you feel connected—to yourself, others, or something larger — we invite you to begin your mornings with Sacred Cups.

Let this be more than just coffee.

Let it be sacred.

We don’t have finalized testing yet, but the Aponte Inga Medium roast would be close to Flow (140mg) and the Aponte Dark Roast would be close to Ease (151mg). This is the amount that was found in a 15g Serving Size (roasted, ground coffee not brewed). The grind size, brew method, water temperature and water:coffee ratio will all impact how much caffeine you’re extracting into your final cup.

I very much want to try your coffee and am also considering investing. My only point of pause are the plastic K cups. I know they are BPA free but it’s still plastic that is being heated up when you brew. I use K cups (pods) every day and use a brand that doesn’t make them with plastic. Any chance you would ever consider a plastic free K cup in the future? Thank you!

    Purity Coffee replied:
Thank you so much for your thoughtful message. We completely understand your concerns around plastic pods. Nitrogen flushing is a key part of how we preserve freshness and protect the beneficial compounds in our coffee, and unfortunately, we haven’t yet found a compostable pod that works well with this process.

That said, we’re actively exploring better, more sustainable options and truly appreciate you holding us to a high standard. Your feedback helps guide our future decisions, and we’re so grateful for your interest in both our coffee and our mission.

I have yet to physically taste your coffee. On the recommendation of a soul friend, I have been enjoying learning about your company, products, website and, in the spirit of your coffees, only essential articles that satisfy.

An end-of-life doula myself and certified homeopath, I am foregoing your generous discount on my first order. Through you, I will better support the health and functioning of my human vessel, as well as support Earth and Purity-partnering humans who receive and share her gifts in the spirit of sacredness. Thank you.
