The Coffee and the Process

Most instant coffee starts with commodity beans bought on price alone.

We start with specialty-grade, single-origin coffees scored 84+ by the Specialty Coffee Association. These are the same quality beans we offer as whole bean coffee.

But we go further.

We select beans based on their chlorogenic acid (CGA) content, the compounds most often studied in coffee research. Not all specialty coffee is high in CGAs.

We test before we buy.

Then we protect what matters.
