BREWING METHOD

We recommend a French press with a stainless steel mesh filter, though any cold brew maker or large mason jar will work just as well. Also tastes great brewed hot and enjoyed over ice.

HOW TO BREW

Combine 75g (about 3/4 cup) of coarsely ground coffee with 32 oz (4 cups) of cold water.

BREW TIME

Steep in the fridge for at least 6–7 hours to extract maximum flavor, caffeine, and antioxidants. Press French press down after steeping.

Note: This coffee is specially ground for cold brew, using a coarse grind that allows for a slow, smooth extraction over 6-7 hours. If you plan to use a drip brewer, pour-over, or French press, we recommend choosing our whole bean option instead and grinding fresh for your brew method. Using this grind outside of cold brew may result in a weak or sour-tasting cup due to under-extraction.

    I love Purity Cold Brew

    The cold brew did not disappoint. I’ve been buying supermarket ready made cold brew for quite some time. When I saw Purity has it now, couldn’t pass it up since I’ve been a regular Purity subscriber for years. Def worth it and saves money compared to buying ready made. Plus, it’s freshly made.

    What am I missing…

    I brewed this cold brew exactly as the directions say and I’m unsure how people like it…it’s so bitter I couldn’t stomach it. I normally make hot coffee in my French press and pour over ice and that’s fine, but I was excited to try this since it’s actually meant to be cold brew. I’m sorry to say, but it’s actually terrible. And disappointing for the price paid.
