This exceptional coffee comes from Bette Buna, a farm in Ethiopia owned and operated by Hester and Dawity Syoum and their beautiful Dutch-Ethiopian family. Bette Buna (which translates to “house built on coffee”) was created by Dawit’s grandparents, who established the farm as a place for the community to come together and support each other. The farm is built on principles of kindness, diversity, and community. Their work has crafted some of the most beautiful and delicious coffee in the world. Coffee that not only empowers the people but also strengthens the environment that fosters it.

Yet another outstanding Purity offering that I just had to try.
I must say I certainly like it more than the Sacred Cups: 18 Conejo, and also like it more than the limited release of the "Ethiopian" blend last year, from non-other than the town/city of the birthplace of coffee itself!, haha
But the Aponte Medium Roast however still stands as my favorite Sacred cups !
If you are like me (when it comes to coffee that is ;)) then you must try it to eliminate all doubt that it just "might" be your new favorite roast ! (And it very well COULD BE!!) =)

I love the subtle flavors in Ethiopian Bette Bunna. I love the way it is grown by women who tend the beans and rotate the soil. They put their hearts into the process. The coffee is sustainably grown and third party tested to be free of mold or mycotoxins. It is fully organic and pesticide free. These women benefit from growing this beautiful, single origin coffee. It comes through in the quality, taste, and aroma. The coffee is not acidic or hard on the stomach. I feel comforted each time I brew it and sip it.

Who knew coffee could be this good!
