Grown beneath a thick biodiverse canopy of native and fruit trees near Colombia’s Chicamocha Canyon, Finca Santa Maria epitomizes environmental stewardship. Activated biochar enriches the soil with healthy microorganisms, which result in complex nutrients and flavors in the coffee. Post-harvest processing is handled with precision using state-of-the-art equipment, including an eco-washer, optical sorter, wire mesh drying deck for excellent air circulation, along with both solar and mechanical dryers.
This farm holds earned the Con Manos de Mujer seal, recognizing their leadership in environmental preservation, ethical labor, and women’s empowerment.
Truly Healthy Decaf
Unlike typical decafs, this superior quality coffee is sent fresh from the farm to MountainWater, where it is naturally decaffeinated, free of chemicals, using only water, time and carbon filters to preserve the coffee’s natural flavors and antioxidant content.

The coffee is cultivated by a remarkable team of 22 women, all of whom are heads of household. Their mission extends beyond producing exceptional coffee; it is about positively impacting their community and nurturing a harmonious relationship with nature. Best Decaf Ever
My wife and I search out quality coffees, but until recently, we didn’t really dabble in Decaf. “Death before decaf” as they say. But of course, in life, situations change and we have been reducing caffeine consumption. We found this decaf after buying Purity products, and - Wow! Honestly the complexity, aroma, taste, texture and experience are so well balanced and enjoyable that we can’t go without it. “Long live decaf” is our new slogan, thanks to Finca Santa Maria.
