Grown beneath a thick biodiverse canopy of native and fruit trees near Colombia’s Chicamocha Canyon, Finca Santa Maria epitomizes environmental stewardship. Activated biochar enriches the soil with healthy microorganisms, which result in complex nutrients and flavors in the coffee. Post-harvest processing is handled with precision using state-of-the-art equipment, including an eco-washer, optical sorter, wire mesh drying deck for excellent air circulation, along with both solar and mechanical dryers.
This farm holds earned the Con Manos de Mujer seal, recognizing their leadership in environmental preservation, ethical labor, and women’s empowerment.
Truly Healthy Decaf
Unlike typical decafs, this superior quality coffee is sent fresh from the farm to MountainWater, where it is naturally decaffeinated, free of chemicals, using only water, time and carbon filters to preserve the coffee’s natural flavors and antioxidant content.
Women-Owned and Operated
The coffee is cultivated by a remarkable team of 22 women, all of whom are heads of household. Their mission extends beyond producing exceptional coffee; it is about positively impacting their community and nurturing a harmonious relationship with nature. Every decision on the farm is made collectively, with the future of their families and ecosystems in mind.

Best Decaf I’ve ever tasted
I’m a coffee snob. I travel the world, wherever I am, seeking out local roasters, and the best cup of coffee. Unfortunately, my body doesn’t agree with caffeine very much anymore (and I have noticed adverse reactions to many beans), which led me to discover Purity coffee. I’ve been enjoying Sacred Cups decaf from my Chemex pour over and it’s been sacred. It’s delicious and I don’t feel awful during and after drinking it. Plus, the packaging is beautiful!
